Fairview, PA - January 24, 2008 - Spectrum Control has developed a series of USB connectors that incorporate EMI or ESD filters into an industry standard USB package. These connectors satisfy the requirements of the USB 2.0 spec, which calls for EMI and ESD protection according to industry specifications. (read more)

Spectrum Control, Inc. has modified the standard MIL-DTL-55116 connectors that are used in 60 volt audio frequency circuits with 0.5 Amps of current to provide effective EMI filtering. Spectrum's connectors are waterproof and polarized, five or six pin electrical plugs/receptacles and can be designed for special & selectively loaded EMI filtering. (read more)

Spectrum Control, Inc. introduces metric threaded EMI filters with an M3 X 0.5 Feed-thru circuit and an M4 X 0.7 Pi circuit. These filters are easily mounted in a tapped hole or thru-hole and have a hex head dimension across the flats of 4.0 mm. Spectrum Control, Inc. has designed a custom EMI filtered barrier strip terminal block with pre-bent leads to allow for easier installation on printed circuit boards (PCBs). This bent lead design was created for fast and easy installation, as PCBs are parallel to the housing bottom of the block. (read more)

Spectrum Control, Inc. now offers RoHS/lead free versions of their Resin Sealed Bolt-in EMI Filters. These filters come in a wide range of sizes: 4-40 thread through 5/16-24 thread, and have voltage ratings to 500 VDC/220 VAC. Multiple circuit configurations are available including C, L and Pi.
