Pole Specifications

   Pole Specifications
   Your choices are...

   Single Pole (SP)

Single pole (SP) relays have a single, moveable lever with a contact at the end.

   Double Pole (DP)

Double pole (DP) relays consist of two, single pole contacts that are concurrently actuated by the same mechanical system and operation. Typically, the first line is hot and the second is neutral.

   Triple Pole (TP)

Triple pole (TP) relays consist of three single pole contact systems.

   Four Pole (4P)

Relays with more than three poles are indicated by the number of single pole contacts followed by the letter "P". For example, four pole relays are 4P devices.

   > 4 Poles

This category includes relays with more than four circuit contacts.

Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
Throw Specifications

   Throw Specifications
   Your choices are...

   Single Throw

Single throw (ST) relays have a pair of contacts that are open in one position and closed in the other.

   Double Throw

Double throw (DT) relays have three contacts. In one position, the first is in contact with the second, but not the third. In the other relay position, the connection is reversed.

Search Logic:      All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
Number of Contacts

   Normally Open (NO)

With normally open (NO) devices, the relay contact pair is open when the coil is not energized.

Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.
   Normally Closed (NC)

With normally closed (NC) devices, the relay contact pair is closed when the coil is not energized.

Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.
   Changeover (CO)

Changeover relays typically have one set of Form C contacts and are single pole, double throw (SPDT) devices.

Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.
Contact Ratings

   Maximum Switching Current

The maximum switching current is usually measured in amperes.

This is the maximum AC switching voltage.

Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.
   Maximum DC Switching Voltage

This is the maximum DC switching voltage.

Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.
   Maximum AC Switching Power

The maximum AC switching power is measured in volt amperes (VA).

Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.
   Maximum DC Switching Power

The maximum DC switching power is measured in watts (W).

Search Logic:      All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.
Coil Ratings

   AC Coil Voltage

This is the AC voltage rating of the relay actuation coil.

Search Logic:      User may specify either, both, or neither of the "At Least" and "No More Than" values. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria.
   DC Coil Voltage

This is the DC voltage rating of the relay actuation coil.

Search Logic:      User may specify either, both, or neither of the "At Least" and "No More Than" values. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria.
   Coil Resistance

The resistance of the actuation coil is measured in ohms (Omega: Ohms).
