Firestop cable glands are designed to withstand fire propagation through barrier. Explosion proof cable glands are designed for some level of explosion safety. Transits configured to accommodate cables with end connectors or terminations already installed; transit can typically be opened up to allow termination pass through and enable subsequent resealing.
