About Line Conditioners
Line conditioners, also known as power conditioners or power line conditioners, are regulators that protect equipment from excessive fluctuations in the utility line, or power system voltage. These devices are intended to improve the quality of power delivered to the electrical load equipment. Liner conditioners often refer to devices that act in one or more ways to filter circuits and deliver the proper level of voltage to enable the load equipment to run normally.
Unlike other safeguard equipment like surge protectors, line conditioners clean noise from the signal first to eliminate any interference that may be on the line. Noise can occur for a number of reasons, including fluctuations in the AC current; inferior, damaged, or incorrect wiring; interference from other equipment; overhead lighting, or weather. Using liner conditioners to reduce noise can make operations faster, increase reliability for network operations, improve modem, and can overall provide better quality.
