Specialty Battery Accessories

Specialty battery accessories are specialized or proprietary products and accessories related to batteries. There are several types of specialty battery accessories. Examples of include battery chargers, battery packs, battery power adapters, solar battery chargers, battery holders, battery cabinets, battery racks and battery testers. A battery charger is used to recharge discharged batteries. Many batteries of the same capacity are assembled to form a battery pack. A battery power adapter enables operation of a device and charges a battery from electrical power outlets. A solar battery charger employs solar PV charge controllers that takes uncertain voltage from a solar panel and condition it to safely charge lead acid batteries. A battery holder is designed to support commercial, industrial or OEM batteries. To charge lithium or zinc air batteries, a battery charger can be directly plugged into an AC wall socket whereas to charge lead acid batteries, solar energy can be utilized. Battery holders support a variety of batteries that are available in various sizes such as AAAA, AAA, N, 1/3 AA, 2/3 AA, AA, ½ A, 2/3 A, A, 4/5 Cs, Cs, C, ½ D, 9V, lantern, photo or electronic cell, battery packs, and coin or button cells. Specialty battery accessories must meet the necessary requirements specified with them, before they can be put to use.

Specialty battery accessories find applications in all commercial and non-commercial fields where batteries are used. Battery packs are used in automotive, camera, and uninterruptible power source (UPS) batteries. Battery testers can be used to generate voltage-current plot and to determine Tafel constants, and are an important battery accessory. Specialty battery accessories ensure safe and proper working and maintenance of battery in use.
