Reed switches are magnetically actuated switches. They are typically manufactured with two ferromagnetic reeds (contact blades), which are sealed in a glass capsule. In the presence of a magnet, the blades (contacts) close.
Switches are devices that allow electric current to flow when closed and prevent current flow when opened. Switches, All Types are a high level search form that includes options for all switch types. Search forms for specific switch actuator types are also available
Search by Specification | Learn MoreReed relays are electrically-operated switching devices that consist of two thin, magnetic strips (reeds) encapsulated in a glass envelope. They are used to switch industrial components such as solenoids, contactors and starter motors
Search by Specification | Learn MoreLiquid level switches are used to detect specific liquid levels or interfaces between liquids. These level measurements are indicated via an electrical switching action
Search by Specification | Learn MoreMagnetic proximity sensors include devices that work on inductive, variable reluctance, magneto resistive or Hall effect principles. Proximity sensors detect the presence or absence of an object using a critical distance
Search by Specification | Learn MoreThermostats and thermal switches are electro-mechanical on/off switches that are activated by temperature changes. They are typically used to control heating and cooling systems
Search by Specification | Learn MoreMatrix switching systems rout signals (RF, video, audio, data, and others) from multiple inputs to multiple outputs
Learn MoreDry material (powders) level switches are used to measure levels of dry, solid materials via an electrical switching action
Search by Specification | Learn MoreHigh voltage relays are used to transfer power for high voltage and high frequency applications. They are heavily insulated and consist of strong materials to increase contact life.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreElectromechanical relays are devices that complete or interrupt a circuit by physically moving electrical contacts into contact with each other.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreLevel transmitters or level transducers are used to measure the level of a liquid or bulk solid material (as well as slurries) within a specified space. For each measurement, they provide an electrical output that is proportional to the input level.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreMagnetic field sensors measure magnetic field strength, direction, and/or magnetic flux. They are used for scientific measurement, navigation, and industrial applications
Search by Specification | Learn MoreGas flow switches and liquid flow switches, velocity, are used to measure the flow or quantity of a moving fluid in terms of velocity, such as feet per minute
Search by Specification | Learn MoreEmergency stop switches are devices that users manipulate to initiate the complete shutdown of a machine, system, or process
Search by Specification | Learn MorePushbutton switches are mechanical switches defined by the method used to activate the switch. The activation method is typically in the form of a plunger that is pushed down to open or close the switch
Search by Specification | Learn MoreA reed switch consists of two ferromagnetic and specially shaped contact blades (reeds) positioned in a hermetically sealed glass tube with a gap between them and in a protective atmosphere. (read more)
Reed Switches: Hasco Components Int'l Corp., offers its reed switches for applications in liquid level sensors, proximity sensors, automotive, security, or for basic on off needs where a regular mechanical switch will not work. Reed switches have an advantage being sealed in glass in an inert gas. This means things like contact resistance and outside environmental issues do not come into play. (read more)

Whether it's a new machien design or a retrofit to increase operator safety on an existing machine, GuardSwitches and mechnical safety interlocks provide the best fit for your application. (read more)
Vernexx, LLC can assist with your specific needs with automated bending and cutting of Oki Reed Switches at their facilities, ensuring that your order meet both your needs and deadlines. Since the leads of a reed switch compromise part of the magnetic circuit, shortening the leads by cutting will cause the required ampere turns for pull-in and drop-out to increase. (read more)
Coto Technology has introduced the 9092 Miniature SIP reed relay - a taller version of its popular 9091 miniature SIP reed relay. The 9092 (which measures .600"x.150"x.350") provides designers a small SIP relay with 2 Form A switching capability in a package with the same footprint as the standard 9091. (read more)
LSA-34-1/2-300-P Single point level switches are usually used for high or low alarm vessels. Multi-point level switches can be designed according to customers' requirements. The general-purpose high temp float level switch is an ideal choice for relatively clean water, diluted chemical or petroleum. Low cost (read more)
