To date, this is the smallest receptacle Mill-Max has ever made. The Mill-Max #8210 receptacle is a combination of a precision machined shell and a stamped 3-finger beryllium copper spring contact. The contact accepts mating pins in the range .008" to .013" diameter and the shell has a .012" diameter tail. The shell and contact are both gold plated for a long service life. (read more)

The unique compliant pin design (patent #4,799,904) is characterized by a hollow and slotted tail that closes down and conforms to the size of the plated-thru-hole thus preventing damage. In addition, the combination of slotted tail and a series of fine serrations make a reliable gas-tight connection with the tin plating inside the hole. (read more)
