Rechargeable batteries or secondary batteries contain active materials that can be regenerated by charging. When the energy produced by rechargeable batteries drops below optimum efficiency, secondary batteries may be recharged in a couple of ways, depending upon their construction.
Electrical contacts and contact materials are soft, high-conductivity, oxidation- resistant materials that are used in circuit breakers, relays, switches, and electrical discharge machining (EDM) applications. They often have a second phase in order to provide anti-welding and/or arc resistance.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreFinishing compounds are used to improve surface finish or flatness. They often consist of fine abrasives in slurry, bar, powder or paste forms.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreAbrasives and abrasive products are used to remove surface materials such as metal, ceramics, glass, plastics, and paint. Abrasives and abrasive products include discs, belts, blast machines and sandblasters, as well as sheets, rolls, and hand pads.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreElectrical contact and electrode materials are soft, high conductivity, oxidation resistant materials used in circuit breakers, relays, and for EDM applications.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreMetal powders are finely divided or powdered metals used in fabricating sintered parts, thermal spraying, filling plastics, and other specialized applications.
Learn MoreBalls and sphere shapes are used for check or ball valves, bearings, or other applications requiring a spherical product. They are fabricated from materials such as carbides, ceramics, sapphire, metals, plastics, rubber and elastomers.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreEye nuts (eyenuts) are fasteners with a looped head. They are designed to receive a hook or rope.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreAbrasive sheets, rolls or pads consists of abrasive grain adhered onto the surface of a cloth, film, paper, non-woven, sponge or other backing usually with a die cut square or rectangular shape.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreLapping services uses a free abrasive machining process, which produces finished components without introducing stresses and heat damage associated with other processes.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreNonferrous metals and alloys are not based on iron and include alloys of aluminum, copper, titanium, zinc, nickel, cobalt, tungsten, precious metals, refractory metals
Learn MoreCrucibles are vessels used to melt and process materials at high temperatures.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreReactive and refractory metals include tungsten, molybdenum, niobium, tantalum, chromium, hafnium, zirconium, and titanium. Reactive metals oxide rapidly and form a stable oxide. Refractory metals and alloys have melting points above ~ 1750° C (~ 3200 F
Search by Specification | Learn MoreChemical and material processing services modify or produce chemicals, powders, foods, minerals, rubber, plastics, adhesives, and other bulk materials on a contractual, toll or fee basis. Common processes include compounding, distillation, drying, formulation, mixing, blending, purification, extraction, synthesis, and powder milling.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreFlap wheels and specialty abrasives includes cartridge rolls, cross pads, sleeves, unitized or convolute wheels, interleaved flaps, flap discs and other specialized abrasive products converted from coated or nonwoven abrasives.
