Reed switches are magnetically actuated switches. They are typically manufactured with two ferromagnetic reeds (contact blades), which are sealed in a glass capsule. In the presence of a magnet, the blades (contacts) close.
Switches are devices that allow electric current to flow when closed and prevent current flow when opened. Switches, All Types are a high level search form that includes options for all switch types. Search forms for specific switch actuator types are also available
Search by Specification | Learn MoreReed relays are electrically-operated switching devices that consist of two thin, magnetic strips (reeds) encapsulated in a glass envelope. They are used to switch industrial components such as solenoids, contactors and starter motors
Search by Specification | Learn MoreLiquid level switches are used to detect specific liquid levels or interfaces between liquids. These level measurements are indicated via an electrical switching action
Search by Specification | Learn MorePushbutton switches are mechanical switches defined by the method used to activate the switch. The activation method is typically in the form of a plunger that is pushed down to open or close the switch
Search by Specification | Learn MoreProcess development services can develop new processes, run process research and development (R&D) programs, perform optimization studies, improve current processing methods and provide other assistance in process development activities
Search by Specification | Learn MoreSwitch boots protect switches from contaminants such as dirt, dust, gas, and liquids. They are generally tough, pliable silicone rubber devices for toggle, pushbutton, rocker and rotary switches
Search by Specification | Learn MoreThermostats and thermal switches are electro-mechanical on/off switches that are activated by temperature changes. They are typically used to control heating and cooling systems
Search by Specification | Learn MoreCompactPCI switches and PXI switches are used in industrial systems to connect test points or devices to instruments for the purpose of testing, measuring or monitoring the system
Search by Specification | Learn MoreVME switches and VXI switches are used in industrial systems to connect test points, or devices, to instruments for the purpose of testing, measuring or monitoring the system
Search by Specification | Learn MoreTouch-sensitive and tactile switches operate by touching or pressing to make a connection. Touch-sensitive switches are touch-operated switches that do not have moving parts, while tactile switches are electromechanical and provide tactile feedback
Search by Specification | Learn MoreMatrix switching systems rout signals (RF, video, audio, data, and others) from multiple inputs to multiple outputs
Learn MoreSuppliers of membrane switches and keypad assemblies using flexible membranes, domed or flat switch profiles, and tactile and non-tactile switches and panels
Search by Specification | Learn MoreKVM switches are hardware devices that allow IT personnel to use a single keyboard, video monitor, and mouse (KVM) to control more than one computer at a time
Search by Specification | Learn MoreAudio switch matrices are electronic switching instruments for interfacing audio signals in scanning, recording and analysis systems
