The TLS001 T-Cube Laser Source is a fully functional, highly compact laser source. The device incorporates driver electronics and a pigtailed Fabry-Perot laser diode, which increases the total available output power compared to an air-to-fiber version, in both 635 nm and 1550 nm variants. It can be controlled by a manual and USB interface. The output laser power is monitored continuously and a feedback circuit adjusts the laser power to achieve a constant output power.

The TLS001 may be mounted directly onto an optical table and operated as a stand-alone unit requiring Thorlabs' TPS101 5 V, 1.6 A compact power supply. Alternately, the laser source could be connected using our T-Cube Controller Hub (TCH002), which provides power and USB connectivity for up to 6 T-Cube devices. Included with the unit is very user-friendly apt software which allows quick setup and control of the TLS001 and is the same software, used to control all of our other T-Cube products. Advanced custom control sequences are also possible using the extensive ActiveX programming environment.
