Teledyne Relays has introduced a three-phase induction motor reverser that can be used to turn on an industrial motor in either direction safely.
The solid-state Series EMCRT is designed to control and invert the direction of a three-phase motor just two legs. The maximum current is 50 Arms (75A on request). The reversers incorporate very-high-immunity components.
The Series EMCRT is designed for applications such as conveyors, elevators, escalators, pumps, compressors, lamps, fans, cranes and three-phase motor applications, according to Antonio Gallegos, product marketing engineer.
The EMCRT motor reversers can be mounted on a DIN rail or attached with screws.
The EMCRT48D50 model operates at 400 Vac, 4kW, while the EMCRT48D75 operates at 400 Vac, 7.5 kW. Each unit measures 3.94 x 2.99 x 2.22 inches (100 x 76 x 56.5 mm) and weighs 4.58 ounces (130g).
