SPINNER has developed new coaxial loads in respect of market prices in the field of Broadcast and of the RoHS direc-tive from the EU (Restriction of lead).

The loads are applicable in the frequency range of DC to 860 MHz and have in this range the typical VSWR value of about 1.04 (1.06 guaranteed).

There are provided two basic modules that build with different connector types and suited heat sinks (resp. equivalent cooling systems supplied by the customer) the power rating steps of 50, 100, 200, 400, 600 and 1000 W - another module for ratings above 1000 W is projected.

The RF technical design is based on a known and proven - in analogue, DAB and DVB-T systems - technology with thickfilm structures on berylliumoxide ceramics. The heat sinks are made of profiled aluminium and (thats new) black anodised. They serve as up to now for pure convection cooling. The loads therefore are stand-alones and free of maintenance.
