Six Smart Pushbuttons are on the front panel: two buttons for displayed item and displayed units selection, one each for tare, peak and hold reset, alternate display view, and print. All menu buttons have alternate functions for setup menus. Programmed operations include peak hold and tracking, programmable math and function channels, programmable limits, the variety of engineering units, position and velocity indication, and user-parameter inputs along with menu scrolling and auto zero.

This compact product is packed with features: quad limits output: independent, isolated solid state relays, controls AC or DC signals; 6 user-selectable filters; Tri-state limit display: on, off, disabled; and automatic display unit conversion. D/A output of +/-10V is standard.

This unit is available in single (Cat. No. 4215A-104-1) and dual channel (Cat. No. 4215A-204-1) versions. A vacuum tube fluorescent display with 2 independent lines of 20 characters allows simultaneous viewing of both channels on the 2-channel unit. The single channel unit has an identical display to simultaneously view two quantities.

The M4215 allows full remote operation via the serial port, basic control via digital inputs, and optional DataView Software link from a PC.

The Model 4215 is dataView software ready for graphical user interface and connection to a PC. DataView software operates at full speed for single and dual channel unit real time data acquisition. The Model 4215 brings the accuracy, reliability, and repeatability needed to meet the most demanding applications.

Four contact closure Limit switches. You can set which signal drives the limit (load, peak, valley, position, or velocity), normally open/normally closed, set point, and manual reset (latched) or automatic reset (not latched).

Print current readings of load, peak, valley, position, and velocity using the currently selected units at the touch of one button.

Automatic identification of calibrated load cells with TEDS-Tag auto ID.

Calibration for load cells using manufacturer's milli-volt per volt calibration factor, 5 point milli-volt per volt, 2 or 5 point known mass, or internal precision shunt calibration. A back panel switch allows you to choose between two values used for the shunt calibration so there is no need to open the unit.

The Model 4215 also has a digital signal conditioner function.
