Rittal Corporation announces the release of the newest addition to the TS8 Freestanding family of modular enclosures—the Floormount TS8. Building upon the proven TS8 design, the Floormount TS8 comes with 12" removable legs that provide separation from any hazards or mishaps that may occur at ground level—a necessity for applications in areas prone to flooding or where it is crucial to lift components up off of the plant floor. In addition to this important feature, the exterior skins are made of rugged 14-gauge steel and are internally fastened to provide extra strength and security—giving the modular enclosure the appearance of unibody construction.

The Floormount TS8 includes a full size, depth adjustable, zinc-plated mounting panel and is compatible with the extensive range of TS8 accessories. These new enclosures are available in a wide variety of sizes, and while they look similar to unibody cabinets, leverage the benefits of TS8 modular flexibility—giving you the best of both worlds by allowing enclosures of the same height and depth to be suited together to meet the demands of today's heavy-duty application requirements
