Rittal Corporation is introducing its new RiLAN industrial enclosures which are designed to house sensitive networking equipment in tough plant floor environments. These enclosures, which can be individually configured to suit specific requirements with a broad range of accessories, are available in carbon steel wallmount designs and freestanding designs. They offer greater networking efficiency and enhanced security monitoring capabilities.

Rittal's RiLAN junction boxes are ideal when impact resistance and NEMA ratings are required for Ethernet applications on the plant floors, in warehouses and other work areas. The larger junction boxes offer space for Ethernet connection of up to 24 subscribers with patch panel and compatibility with all major manufacturers of industrial Ethernet components. The smaller junction boxes provide space for Ethernet connection of up to 24 users without patch panel or space for Ethernet connection of up to 12 users with patch panel.

RiLAN bus enclosures are well suited for smaller applications that require NEMA-rated enclosures. Various models are available with solid and viewing doors,

D-rails for component mounting and punchouts for easy cable management. Designed for mounting 19" components, RiLAN three-part hinged enclosures allow access to the rear of the installed equipment after the enclosure is attached to the wall. Additional Rittal enclosures with depth adjustable 19" (482.6") rails and easy cable accessibility are available for small networks or corridor distributors.

Offering protection for a large number of 19" components, the freestanding network cabinet provides NEMA Type 12 rated protection and is designed to house networking components in a lockable enclosure. A full line of accessories provides ease in cable management and component installation.
